The short version

This site contains affiliate links. When you purchase through these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I actually use or genuinely believe would help your build.

Affiliate links are special URLs that tell a retailer or brand that I sent you. If you make a qualifying purchase, the company pays me a small percentage. Your price stays the same — the commission comes from the company’s marketing budget, not your wallet.

On this site, affiliate links:

  • Always go through /go/<slug> redirects (like /go/renogy)
  • Include rel="sponsored" attributes per Google’s guidelines
  • Are disclosed at the top of any post containing them

Which programs I participate in

Amazon Associates: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon links are tagged with my affiliate ID.

Direct brand partnerships: I work with companies in the van-build space (solar, electrical, insulation, tools, fixtures) via their affiliate programs or product-seeding arrangements. Active partnerships are listed on my Gear & Partners page.

What I don’t do: I don’t recommend products solely for commission potential. If something’s on this site, it’s because I’ve used it in my build, researched it thoroughly, or know builders who vouch for it.

Your rights

You’re never obligated to use an affiliate link. If you prefer to search for a product yourself or buy elsewhere, that’s completely fine — I’d rather you get the right gear than earn a commission on the wrong gear.
